Fix Samsung Browser Links Not Opening in Vanced, ReVanced

In this Fixing guide, we will guide you through the process of resolving the issue of YouTube video links not opening in the YouTube Vanced app via Samsung Internet Browser.

Many users have reported that they are unable to take full advantage of these features, as a specific group of users is unable to open YouTube video links through Samsung Internet Browser in the Vanced or ReVanced app, despite having set the “Open Supported Link” option to Vanced/ReVanced instead of the official YouTube app.

Interestingly, this issue only occurs in the Samsung browser and not in Chrome. If you are experiencing this issue, follow the steps below to resolve it.

Fix YouTube Link via Samsung Browser not Opening in Vanced:

While other browsers simply require you to enable the “Open Supported Link” setting, Samsung’s browser requires an additional setting to be enabled before proceeding.

To do this,

1. Launch the Samsung Browser on your android smartphone.

2. Go to the Samsung Browser Settings.

3. Navigate to Useful Features.

4. Finally, enable the toggle next to the Open links in other apps option.

After enabling this feature, all YouTube video links accessed through Samsung Internet Browser will now open in the Vanced app.

That concludes this guide. If you still have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below, and we will get back to you with a solution as soon as possible.
